It's been awhile since I have been on here. I forget about "blogging" as it is all about Facebook now. It's funny how a few years ago it was "MySpace" which I never was on, and who knows what it will be after Facebook is no longer popular. I'm only on Facebook because my husband started an account, got back in touch with all of his friends, then thought FB was lame and wanted to delete his account. So I took it over, that way he can still be in touch with his friends from high school, even though it has my name on the account now, I kept his name in parenthesis...you know, just so his friends know he has not fallen off of the face of the earth, as he is a private guy, he doesn't like to share a lot of information about himself, as he is an introvert. Overall, he does not have much to say unless it has something to do with a burn pile, an ATV, or fixing something.
Anyway, I have made lots of friends on Facebook by knowing one person. I started playing Farmville with her and she knows LOTS of people. So through her I have made so many lady friends, most of whom live in Europe and one that lives in New Zealand. Yeah, I know some people think playing games on facebook is a waste of time. Well, it is. However, when my children go to bed, it's a nice thing to get on FB and play a game or two. It helps me wind down the end of my day. I also chat with my friends who live across the ocean over in England, I know when it's midnight over here, they are eating their breakfasts! They usually tell me what they are eating and we tell each other what we are posting so they can go and race to see who gets the item first. It's kind of fun and competitive that way. It's sad to say, but sometimes I feel I am closer to my online friends than my "real" friends. Online there is no competition, or worrying about how you look, what you should wear, blah, blah, blah...let's face it, online friends are just easier to have, in my opinion. The one thing that bugs me the most about my Farmville friends? My biggest pet peeve is smoking. I can't stand it, I don't like the smell of smokers, and whatnot. Somehow most of my online friends when in the "chat" will say " brb, I'm going for a smoke." I think to myself "REALLY?" But hey, people will do what they want to do. I will never tell someone to stop doing something unless it is hurting me mentally or physically. A person is free to make their own choices, even if it does not agree with my beliefs, it's okay because that is what friends do. Friends accept each other for who they are.
I will not bore you with anymore details tonight. I'll be back whenever to state more opinions about things. Have a good night and stay safe wherever you may be. My 2 year old has just come up to me and she wants me to put her "night, night".
